Foundation Meditation series: Part 1

Welcome to part 1 of this series - where we explore the foundations of Meditation. In this session, I introduce Meditation, breath awareness, and how we can develop our own personal practice. And remember, there’s no “wrong” way to practice. There’s only your way. Meditation doesn’t look like anything in particular—it’s simply the practice of noticing, of being present, of being with yourself. And that’s enough.

Foundation Meditation series: Part 2

In part 2, we explore at greater depth the concept of Mindfulness, and understanding what being the 'observer' of thought is all about. I share tools to anchor our awareness in practice; like connecting with the senses, mantra and breath awareness. Through our Meditation, we learn to bring a playful curiosity with non-attachment and non-judgement.

Foundation Meditation series: Part 3

Our bodies hold so much wisdom, but sometimes we can rush through our days without tuning in fully. Meditation can be a powerful technique in Embodiment - awareness and connection to the body during the practice. In this session, we’ll cultivate awareness to our bodies, helping us connect to physical sensations and find grounding.

Foundation Meditation Series: Part 4

Experience the healing power of Metta (Loving Kindness Meditation). By cultivating self-compassion, we begin to soften the natural tendency to judge ourselves, quiet the voice of the inner-critic, & embrace all parts of our experience (the good & the difficult!). MRI scans show that loving-kindness meditation can lead to changes in brain regions associated with positive emotions, empathy, and emotional regulation.
